Buggy Path Programme • Club Fundraiser
Golf is a game for everyone, and at Enniscorthy Golf Club we want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy our course, facilities and club community.
As part of that commitment, we are continuing to improve accessibility around the course through our Buggy Path Programme.
Improving Access to the Course
For many golfers, access to a buggy can make the difference between being able to continue playing golf and having to step away from the game.
Improved buggy paths can help older golfers, players with mobility difficulties and golfers with disabilities access more of the course safely and comfortably.
Enniscorthy Golf Club has secured a further €7,500 in Golf4All Capital Grant funding, following on from the €5,000 awarded last year, providing continued support towards the development of the project.
The Golf4All initiative, supported by Golf Ireland, is designed to help golf clubs improve physical accessibility and create opportunities for more people to participate in the game.
Our Buggy Path Programme
Our longer-term aim is to develop an improved network of buggy paths around the course, making it possible for more golfers to experience and enjoy Enniscorthy.
The project is being developed progressively, with the club working towards improved buggy access across a significant section of the course. It is an important investment not only in our course, but in the future accessibility of our club.
Help Support the Buggy Path Programme
Our next major fundraising event in support of the Buggy Path Programme takes place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September 2026, when Enniscorthy Golf Club will host a Champagne Scramble Club Fundraiser.
Teams of four can take part for €120 per team. The weekend will also include a social evening and raffle on Saturday night. Funds raised will go towards the continued development of the Buggy Path Programme, helping us improve access to the course for golfers who rely on buggies to continue enjoying the game.

Why Your Support Matters
The support of our members, visitors, sponsors and wider community can make a real difference to how quickly we can progress this important project.
By taking part in the Champagne Scramble, supporting the raffle or helping to spread the word, you are contributing to an improvement that can help people continue playing and enjoying golf at Enniscorthy for years to come.
Golf for Everyone
Enniscorthy Golf Club has been part of the local community since 1907. As we continue to develop the club for future generations, accessibility will remain an important part of that journey.
Whether someone is an experienced golfer, returning to the game, living with a disability or simply finding that walking 18 holes has become more difficult, we want to make it easier for them to continue enjoying golf.
The Buggy Path Programme is one more step towards ensuring that golf at Enniscorthy can be enjoyed by as many people as possible.
