Whether you are completely new to golf or returning after a break, our Get Into Golf programme offers a relaxed, friendly and supportive introduction to the game for both women and men.

The programme is designed to make golf approachable and enjoyable from the very beginning. You will receive professional coaching, time to practise, support as you progress and opportunities to experience the social side of club life.

Learn alongside other beginners in a relaxed and supportive environment.

David provides professional coaching throughout the Get Into Golf programme. His practical and encouraging approach helps complete beginners learn the fundamentals, build confidence and enjoy their introduction to the game.

Everything you need to know before joining

Do I need any golf experience?
No. The programme is designed for complete beginners and people returning to golf after a break.
Is equipment provided?
Yes. Golf clubs and basic equipment can be made available, so you do not need to purchase equipment before starting.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear are ideal. Trainers or flat-soled shoes are perfectly suitable when starting.
Can I join on my own?
Absolutely. Many participants come along independently and quickly get to know others in their group.
Will I get to play on the course?
As you progress and build confidence, you will have opportunities to experience playing on the course with appropriate support.
What happens if the weather is poor?
Sessions generally continue in light rain. Any changes caused by severe weather or course conditions will be communicated.
Is there a pathway after the programme?
Yes. Participants can progress into beginner competitions and explore suitable membership options at the club.
