Favourable testimonials found throughout the web based on visitors experiences bear witness to the welcoming environment and quality of the course.
Come up to the clubhouse and you may, if fortunate, meet some notable figures from the Irish sporting world such as Tony Ensor, who won 22 international rugby caps for Ireland at full back from 1973 to 1978. Also Charlie Latta, who represented his country with distinction at hockey and was awarded 50 caps during the period 1976 to 1982. Other greats who are current members from the counties great hurling and football eras are frequently seen in the clubhouse where there is always a story to be heard of bygone days. It is such characters that add grace and warmth to the club.
We remember with fondness those who have gone before us who have laid the strong foundation for the development of the fine course and clubhouse we now enjoy today who are too numerous to give credit to here.
